Business Award

Presented by the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Business Association

This award recognises the work of an individual or commercial/for profit organisation that has provided leadership or achieved outstanding success within the LGBTI community OR has provided excellent service or made a significant contribution to the LGBTI community in the fields of business, finance, commerce and/or industry.  

Media/Arts/Entertainment Award 

Presented by Foxtel and SX Magazine

This award recognises the work of a person or organisation that has provided leadership or achieved outstanding success within the LGBTI community OR has provided excellent service or made a significant contribution to the LGBTI community in the fields of media, communications, creative industries, popular culture and/or entertainment.

Cayte Latta Memorial Award for Visual Arts

Presented by the Cult Magazine

This new award, which includes prize money of $1000, has been made possible by an endowment from the estate of the late Cayte Latta. The award recognisies visual art that expresses, interprets or explores issues or themes affecting the LGBTI community.  Eligible mediums are: photography, painting, drawing, video, filmmaking, printmaking or graphic design. Artists can submit entries of previous work or work specifically created for the Award. Any images should be uploaded at time of submission or a link should be provided under the Supporting Statement section of the online Nomination Form. 

Health and Wellbeing Award 

Presented by GLYDE Health

This award recognises the work of a person or organisation that has provided leadership or achieved outstanding success within the LGBTI community OR has provided excellent service or made a significant contribution to the LGBTI community in the fields of medicine, healthcare, spirituality, sport, education, research and/or advocacy.

Community Organisation Award 

Presented by Aurora

This award recognises the work of a community/not for profit organisation which has provided leadership or achieved outstanding success within the LGBTI community OR has provided excellent service or made a significant contribution to the LGBTI community.   

Young Achiever Award

Presented by Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras

This award recognises the achievements of a young person (30 years or under at the time of nomination) who has provided leadership or achieved outstanding success within the LGBTI community OR who has provided excellent service or made a significant contribution to the LGBTI community in any capacity.

Community Hero Award 

Presented by ACON

This award recognises the work of a person who has provided leadership or achieved outstanding success within the LGBTI community OR who has provided excellent service or made a significant contribution to the LGBTI community in any capacity.
